Much loved cyclist, skier, handyman and craftsman extraordinaire, Werner passed away suddenly on Wednesday September 23, 2015. Werner’s quiet good nature and sense of humour will be missed by many friends, former teammates and his family in Canada and Holland. He leaves behind his children Matthew and Meghan, his parents Rolf and Ria, his brother Han, sister-in-law Kathy, niece Taylor, nephew Justin and his aunts in Holland – Tante Nettie, Tante Corrie, Tante Bep, Tante Margot, Tante Miep and his uncle Bertie.
